Lesson: Speaking (weather forecast)

I have always liked the idea of getting learners to make a weather forecast. Short and to the point, the format and style seems to be similar wherever you are in the world.

In this lesson, learners work together to write a TV weather forecast. You may wish to bolster understanding with a few clear examples and discuss typical conventions.

You could use a map with stick on weather symbols. If you have time, your learners could even make their own.
